For clinics
Every allergist in our directory is listed free, from federal records. If you’re the doctor or work at their practice, you can claim the listing, also free, and add the details patients look for.
How to claim a listing
- Find the doctor in our directory and open their profile.
- Press “Claim this listing” and sign in with your work email. We email you a link: there is no password.
- Tell us who you are: the doctor, or someone at the practice, and your job title.
- We confirm the claim with the practice ourselves, usually by calling it at a phone number in the public records and asking for you by name. This usually takes a few business days.
- Once it’s confirmed, add the details. They show on the profile straight away.
What you can add
- A phone number, a website and a link to book or request an appointment
- Whether the doctor is taking new patients and offers telehealth visits
- The ages the doctor sees, languages spoken and insurance accepted
- A short description of the practice, up to 600 characters, which goes live once we’ve read it
Your details appear marked as from the practice, next to what the federal records say. The Directory Listing Terms set the rules: no rankings such as “best” or “top”, no claims of a cure, “board certified” only with the board’s name, and no reviews or testimonials.
What claiming doesn’t change
- Lists stay in alphabetical order. Claiming never moves a doctor up.
- We don’t rate, rank or recommend doctors, claimed or not.
- We keep showing the federal records. To correct them, update the doctor’s record in NPPES or their Medicare enrollment, and use “Report a problem” on the listing.
Paid placement
We don’t sell placement yet. If we do, it will appear in its own slot labeled “Sponsored”, at one published price for every practice, and it will never change the order of a list or be needed to claim or update a listing. Our advertising policy sets out the rules.
